Hi Mr Chris I have an excemption from FA exam and i am intended to give the FR exam and I do not have the deep knowledge of topics covered in FA exam could you please tell me is it going to effect my FR exam or not and if it is going to effect my FR exam then how can I overcome this hurdle
Hi,
if you have the exemption then it is because you already have the knowledge, so you will be fine with FR, although you might be a little rusty. There are some good preparation questions on the ACCA FR website that cover the fundamentals of FA so I’d recommend that you sign up to do those to help you get back up to speed.
You will find that the FA knowledge comes back to you pretty quickly once you start working through the FR materials.
Thanks
