Hi, I am an ACCA Affiliate now and it’s been 1.5 years since I became an affiliate. Unfortunately, I am not in to accounting /audit yet as my back ground is in Banking and Compliance with 7+ years of experience. I finished ACCA alongside my Banking job and my Bank is not an ACCA approved employer. Now, I switched my employer and I am still in Financial Crime Compliance, and again my employer is not ACCA approved. Currently, I strongly wish to transition my career to accounting/ auditing. Unfortunately, with no such background, I am finding it really difficult to find an entry level and not even able to try internship or graduate trainee programmes as i am no more a student/ it’s more than a gap year for graduate trainee program respectively. I am really in a dilemma and thinking of any more degree/ certification to help me land a job in accounting/ audit. Since it’s almost been more than 1.5 years after completing ACCA, I find it really really difficult to transition my career.

Have you explored the ACCA Careers portal? https://jobs.accaglobal.com
If you start with a region, you can then browse by location, job role of sector.
Also in the careers portal, you will find lots of advice: https://jobs.accaglobal.com/careers
I think what you really might need though is to register with a professional recruitment agency who can match your experience with an accountancy/audit firm that has clients in the banking sector.
I don’t think more degree/certification per se will get you a job and if you meant specifically ACA (ICAEW), then no, this is equivalent to ACCA, which you have already. You could however, look at the job advertisements in the portal and see what additional qualifcations, if any, might be relevant to the roles you are most interested in.
