Can I choose VNM as a type of F4 to taking my exam? Would you like to advise me? Thanks in advance.
December 5, 2014 at 5:54 pm #218564If there is a Vietnamese variant (is there?) then why not? Unfortunately, I shall be unable to help you with any queries unless Vietnamese law happens to coincide with English law or with the global variant …… and how would I know?
Sorry not to be more positive
October 28, 2015 at 6:10 am #279342Dear Mr Mike,
I am choose Vietnamese variant too. I just wonder which material I can use. a global variant plus the Vietnamese law or anything else? I cannot find it anywhere, pls give me advices.
Thanks a lot!October 28, 2015 at 6:56 am #279344From what I can see in the Vietnamese syllabus, there are few differences
between English Law and Vietnamese law.The only difference that I could se was reference within the Vietnam variant to the Vietnamese Civil Code
The V variant is much closer to English than it is to Global so I suggest that you watch the English lectures, read the English course notes and go from there, always bearing in mind that your civil code is likely going to be different than the English equivalent
This is from an article I found on the internet:
“In conclusion, in deciding on a law variant, choosing the ‘easiest’ should not be a consideration. Rather, consider current and future career goals.”
Hope this helps
