Hi,
In example 2 of EPS which is on page 77 of the notes, shouldn’t the fraction used be 2/3 since the numerator should be the shares before the bonus issue and the denominator should be the shares after bonus issue? How did the fraction in the working become 3/2?
If what I am saying isn’t right, could you please explain why and give me a formula that I can learn for the exam?
