    Good afternoon Mike,

I’m reviewing the earnings per share exercises and I have 2 questions in the example 2 why the fraction is 9/7 I’m not able to match with the formula and in example 5 in the dilution workings I can’t get in the 390k. Thank you for the help!

    Cheers 🙂

    Question 1 – it’s 9/7 because the is a bonus issue of 2 for 7

    What’s 520,000 x $3?
    What’s 1,560,000 / $4?

Why can you not see where 390,000 comes from?

Tell me, honestly, have you watched the lecture on this topic?

Have you read and understood the free course notes?

    Apparently not!

    Hi Mike,

I did it but apparently I didn’t pay attention to the details, so sorry for those silly questions. However I will pay double attention to the details otherwise I will not be successful in the test! Thanks for your time!

    Cheers!
