Hi sir,
May I know the double entries for dividends received and dividends paid?Does they have effect on the p/l?thank you!

Dividends paid:

DR Retained earnings (SOCE)
CR Bank/Payable

Dividends received:

DR Bank/receivable
CR Investment income (SPL)
