    Hello,

Kindly ask you to explain in more detail the concepts of “Narrow equity approach” and that of “Strict obligation approach”.

    Thank you in advance,
    Amaria

Where are you quoting these expressions from?

BPP study text. These two approaches are taken when defining liabilities and equity and distinguishing between them, in the June 2013 Discussion paper.

In case this is the wrong forum and you don’t discuss BPP materials here I apologise, please disregard.

    Regards,
    Amaria

No, you’re in the right place and I have no problem with you mentioning BPP by name.

I don’t have their material, neither here where I’m working nor at home, so I’m not familiar with the quote.

But surely BPP themselves should explain the matters.

If they don’t go into any greater detail, then I suggest that they feel that the two expressions are not worthy of fuller explanation

I don’t think that I can help you

And if you want to mention Kaplan, Becker AND BPP in one post, that’s still ok!

    🙂
