Hi sir,

Regarding disounting

Can I put it directly on calculator for example

1.5(1/1+6%) and get the answer is this acceptable?

Its different than examiner answer which takes (1/1+6%) for 2 dismal points.
Then multiply it to 1.5

I hope my question is clear

Hi,

It doesn’t matter how you do it as long as you get the correct answer. You would not be penalised for rounding, however if the examiner gives you the discount factor then just use it, don’t calculate it for yourself.
