as you mentioned in note page 24 that gifts are allowable if
1) it cost< 50,
2) it isn’t food drink or tobacco,and
3) carry advertisement of business..
in your page 217 i found that boxes of chocolate (note 5) is disallowed expense because it is not meeting point 2,
why not calender??? it do not contain advertisement of business??? it is also not meting 3 point then why it isn’t added back??October 31, 2013 at 8:41 pm #144263It is assumed that the calenders are carrying a conspicuous advertisement for the business. (they almost always do)
