Hi Tutor, I have appeared for two papers for this December, and for the June Attempt I want to appear for two more papers in the Skills Module. If I clear the papers attempted this December, I have a choice between F5,F7 and F9 for the June attempt. The general idea I got was that F5 is the toughest among all these three. So what would be your advice regarding which two papers form the best combination?

Actually, the reason many people find F5 difficult is because it is often the first ACCA paper that students take (because of exemptions). That is obviously not going to be the case for you.
F5 and F9 both follow on from different parts of Paper F2, and Paper F7 follows on from Paper F3. A good idea would be to look at the syllabuses for all three papers and see how much you remember from F2 and F3 (or from university if you were exempt).

I personally would take F5 and F7 first, but there is no special reason for that – everyone is different in what they find hard or easy 🙂

    Hi John,

Thank You for the prompt reply. I have a graduate degree in commerce and an MBA. So, I was eligible for exemption for F1 to F4 Papers. I will take a detailed look at the syllabus, but I just wanted to get a general idea about what I might be looking at. Your advice will be very helpful in doing the same, but I was hoping to take up one paper with an easier load, as working and studying could be very challenging if I take up papers with a very high level of difficulty. Thanks again for the reply, and I shall post in the same forum again if I have any further questions.
