Did anyone else find the paper difficult? It’s seems so much different than the specimen paper for December 2014 on the ACCA website.
December 1, 2014 at 2:06 pm #215119Yeah I don’t think I did very well, going to have start preparing for resit in 2015
December 1, 2014 at 2:10 pm #215121Hi, do you remember the question about throughput ratio for Cut and Treatment. I had both of ratio are less than 1. Do you have the same?
December 1, 2014 at 2:11 pm #215124It was okay. Don’t think i did too well on the balance scorecard question.
Does anyone know when the open tuition puts up the answers to the paper?
December 1, 2014 at 2:15 pm #215127Hai yen, I didn’t but u are probably right.
Safiyah ….i didn’t Iether.
I didn’t do well.December 1, 2014 at 2:23 pm #215130Hai Yen, my answers came out higher so I probably got it wrong. Balance score card question threw me, but I just wrote as much as I could to define sensible goals and performance measures relating to the scenario. Hopefully markers are generous!
December 1, 2014 at 2:27 pm #215134I did not do well balanced scorecard. I just remember 4 perspectives. And then I based on scenario to write the goal. May be I get some marks in this question.
December 1, 2014 at 2:28 pm #215135Definitely didn’t see the Balance Score card question coming!
December 1, 2014 at 2:30 pm #215137On the multiple choice question about shadow pricing did anyone circle no change? ( option d)
December 1, 2014 at 2:33 pm #215139i did, and for the material yield my yield was really big 🙁 not sure what went wrong as i have practiced that loads.
multiple choice questions were really hard 🙁
December 1, 2014 at 2:35 pm #215140I had an adverse mix and fav yield. Both were 5000 something
December 1, 2014 at 2:39 pm #215144Shadow price. I think it will be change. I do not remember exactly option. But it equals to shadow price multiplies addition available kg. Is there anyone do like that?
December 1, 2014 at 2:42 pm #215147Yeah, I got adverse mix and fav yield. But it is not 5000. I got higher than it.
December 1, 2014 at 2:48 pm #215151I remember my mix and yield being close to the answers given in te second part of te question…which gave me a little hope. The multiple choice questions I just took guesses at.
December 1, 2014 at 3:04 pm #215164Hi Safiyyah,
i put D for the shadow pricing q, is that correct? i really struggle with showdow pricing 🙁
December 1, 2014 at 3:06 pm #21516516 increase
December 1, 2014 at 3:07 pm #215166hai yen, was your yield a lot higher? i think i took the actual batches and divided but the standard mix and compared against SQAM but my yield was sky high mix was in line with what was in the question 🙁
December 1, 2014 at 3:08 pm #215167?ave th same with mix and yield, as Sarah
December 1, 2014 at 3:09 pm #215169what did people put for the balance score card?
i struggled with Q3, Q4 and the yield part of Q5 and the mcq.
December 1, 2014 at 3:10 pm #215171For the BS I put financial, internal, innovation and training, and customers.
December 1, 2014 at 3:11 pm #215172hi oleksandr, was your yield about 80k ish? can’t remeber exactly now but i know it was that sort of high 🙁
December 1, 2014 at 3:11 pm #215175For Q 3 my answer was £9455
December 1, 2014 at 3:12 pm #215180Sarah, it wasn’t so high. Perhaps about 20k
December 1, 2014 at 3:17 pm #215185i put those 4 too, but didn’t really know the background to them 🙁
December 1, 2014 at 3:18 pm #215186I found the mix and the yield question very straightforward. Where there any “tricks” that I might missed?
