Is decrease in depreciation due to impairment added to statement of profit or loss
The depreciation is still charged to profit or loss, just at the reduced amount.
So there is no decrease depreciation adjustment like it is for extra deprecation on revalued asset?
Also if there is a decrease in revaluation which results in lower depreciation than the cost model then will it be adjusted as an addition to revaluation surplus and a deduction in retained earnings
