    Hello, just doing some revision for the Exams in December.

    I am working through the regression question which came up – December 2011 Q4.
    In the acca standard answer there is a figure of $4.06m
    (“demand in the fourth quarter of 2011 (period 14) will be about $4.06m”)

    Please could you advise how this figure is calculated?

    Thanks

    y = 2.38 + 0.12x (given)

    The fourth quarter of 2011 is period 14, so

    y = 2.38 + 0.12 x 14 = 4.06
