For Forward Contracts, not settled in Cash, that are treated as ‘normal business transactions’ rather than under IFRS9, why are these ignored in the statements, and not treated as a Provision, since we would appear to have a obligation arising from the contract?
Thanks.
Hi,
Provisions are accounting for uncertainty and there is no uncertainty surrounding this contract.
Thanks
