In your video of ratio calculation, you have mentioned that one must not waste time in writing on what calculations the ratio numerator and denominator is based on. However, the BPP Study Text mentions that marks awarded for showing where the numbers have come from.
I would request you to give me a clarification upon that. Thanks in advance

Yes, you need to show the numbers within the formula (GPM = 10/100 = 10%, say) but you do not need to write out the full formula (GPM = gross profit / sales).
