i was hoping to benefit from the F3 lectures, but it seems i may not because am writing my F3 exam next week on 28th November
Sorry kelvin2015, I’d love to have got the lectures recorded but circumstances haven’t allowed me to do it sadly. It is high on my list of priorities and I’ll get them done once I get the chance. Hopefully you won’t be needing them though as you’ll have passed the exam next week.

Thanks for the made simple note.
On page 8 example 5, I think to calculate the ROCE is PBIT (19.5) divided by the total Capital employed (18+138) =19.5/156=.125=12.5%.
Not sure where you get 15.5. from.

Am also a little confused on page 8 example 5 of your use of 15.5M as PBIT rather than the given 19.5Mkindly clarify.

It is just a typo and should be 19.5 in the answer, therefore giving the ROCE as 12.5%.
