    hi,
in the event the chargeable transfer to trust is less than the nil rate band and the tax payment was made by the taxpayer hence looking at a net figure of transfer, what will we do to get back to gross transfer?
following the math for the opposite scenario where the transfer is well in excess of the band, we taxed the excess at 25% and the result added to the net amount to get to the gross. well, here we don’t have excess.
    a bit confused. thanks.

Hey no worries – keep working hard and yes it is best to wait until a subject has been thoroughly studied and practiced before asking certain questions.
