    Good evening,

    Just wanted to check the calculations, please see below;

    1. For intra-group sales we deducted the 2,000 from revenue and cost of sales in the adjustment column. But in the video 2,000 was added for cost of sales in the adjustment column and in the answers on page 115, 500 was added in the adjustment column.

I deducted the 2,000 from COS, this is in line with examples 1 and 2. Have I missed something from the questions? (If so, apologies!)

    2. My consolidated COS was 20,450, when compared to the lecturer video and answers its shown as 20,650.

    20,450 = (TJ 12,800 + WM 9750) – (I/Co sales 2,000) – (PUP 100).

    Thanks again
    Harry

Hi Chris – Sorry to chase but could you please let me know.

Also, will you be out of the office during the summer period?

    Thanks
    Harry

    Hi Harry,

The answer should be 20,650 which is calculated as follows:

    20,650 = 12,800 + 9,750 – 2,000 + 100

    Or, if you prefer:

    TJ WM Adj.
    C’o’S (12,800) (9,750) 2,000
    – PUP (100)

Essentially the answer should not have the 500 and should be replace by the 2,000.

I’m about all summer but was away on holiday this last week, hence the slow reply.

    Keep up the hard work.

    Thanks

    Chris
