Hi..can you kindly provide the workings for example 6 and 7 in chapter 2?
Example 6
Daisy received a salary of £18,000 (PAYE £1,400), received £10,000 bank deposit interest and dividend income of £2,000 in 2016/17
Calculate Daisy’s income tax payable for 2016/17
Example 7
Recalculate Daisy’s income tax payable, assuming Daisy received a salary of £36,000 (PAYE £5,705), bank deposit interest of £12,000 and dividend income of £2,000.
I got 1800 for example 6 and 3895 for example 7. Kindly confirm if i am right, if not, can i show me how to work it as the answer is not in the lecture. Thanks!
