    Dear sir,
I have read something about changes being made to P2 from September session. Right now I am using these lectures and notes. So does this mean that, if in case one misses out the sitting for June session, the efforts will go in vain due too new material, syllabus and changes brought in to P2?

    regards

    copied from the official pdf.

    2. Attempt P2 in March
    or June
If you pass P2 in March
    or June, this will be
    converted into a pass for
    the new Strategic Business
    Reporting exam.
    Whilst there will be no
    changes in the syllabus
    content, the style of the
new exam will be different –
    taking a more holistic view
    of reporting.

Thanks there Zain. Could you help me with the “change in style & holistic view of reporting”. Provide me a link or summarize some in your own words.

    Hi,

If you look at the ACCA website and the illustrative exam paper for the new syllabus then you will see the difference for yourself. The biggest change is around the first question, as you will no longer be expected to prepare a full consolidation.

    Thanks
