Why is share of profit in associate deducted frm group cash flow ?is it coz when the parent gets apportioned a share of the profit, it is like a bookish entry rather thn any actual cash transferred to the parent(kind of a noncash income)?
Yes, the profit in associate is a non-cash item so is adjusted for by removing it from the group profit before tax.
