A resident individual taxpayer in Mukono town owned a building with a cost base of Shs 4.5 billion which was destroyed by fire. It has been confirmed by the insurance company that it is going to compensate him Shs 3.6 billion. The replacement of the same building is expected to cost Shs 4.8 billion.
