Hello
Im about to take a remote session exam of PM soon. In the guidelines it say the calculator that can be used is noiseless, cordless pocket calculator that does not store text or graphics.
However the calculator that i have is CASIO fx-82MS
Im wondering if my calculator will be allowed?
Scientific calculators are allowed but not programmable calculators and, as the guidance says, it must not be able to store text or graphics.
The spec here https://www.casio-europe.com/euro/products/school-and-graphic-calculators/technical-scientific-calculator/fx-82ms suggest that it is allowed. However, an invigilator is within their rights to challenge a calculator if they think it is not allowed. You should therefore be familiar with the calculator provided in the CBE should you need to fall back on that.
