Sometimes the answer will be given in the nearest whole no and sometimes it will not be given in the nearest whole no? I’m confused. And this confusion also applies to nearest $1000,$100 type of questions. Can you just tell me how to deal with these kind of questions.

BRT question in BPP kit , I have this problem.

    If I didn’t add 1 will i not be rewarded 2 marks?

The question specifically asks for the answer to be given to the nearest 1,000, and so if you do not round your answer to the nearest 1,000 you will not be given any marks 🙁

I will tell u an example so that you can better understand my problem. For example , if the final answer is ,let’s say, $34567 and question specifies to answer in the nearest $000 s, the kit answer sometimes will be $34000 or $35000. So, I will choose $35000 right?

Yes, 34,567 is closer to 35,000 so you would round up to 35,000.
