Q46 from BPP, how the deferred tax liability movement of 0.4 has been calculated,,,please the exam is in few days and I am very confused..thanks
Hi,
I think it might be a mistake in the answer. The reason I believe it is wrong is because the movement in the carrying value of the net assets will be due to the excess depreciation charged in the group accounts. This excess depreciation is $2 million and if we take 30% of this we get $0.6 million but the answer has $0.4 million.
Don’t get too concerned by this at such a late stage, you’ll be fine providing you’ve put the hours of study in.
