There’s no 2 best papers for everyone. Everyone is different and what the best 2 papers for you won’t be the best 2 for someone else. It really depends on your strengths and weaknesses and what you want for a career.
Some choose based on which topics they find most interesting, some choose based on what role they want to do in the future. Remember that employers won’t really care which papers you took, just whether you’re qualified, so some people just choose which they think will be the easiest to pass.
