How many marks are there for drawing up the balance sheet or cash flow statement , my tutor here told me all the marks really are for working so no need to make the sheet it self
Hi,
There are no presentation marks for producing the financial statement asked for in the requirement but I’d still produce it. The tutor is correct that the vast majority of the marks are available for the workings but if you are asked to produce a consolidated statement of financial position then that is what you should do.
Just think if your script was marginal, on reviewing it then I doubt you’d be given a pass if you’ve not answered the requirement properly. Also by producing the financial statement you’ll be easing the marking for the marker.
