I am looking to sit the ATX Irish version exam. For previous papers I’ve used the BPP books however there only seems to be a UK edition on ATX.
Can anyone advise what books to use for the ATX Irish version? ThanksApril 19, 2022 at 3:00 pm #653932
If you visit the following link and download the syllabus, there is a reading list at end of the document-
Hope this helps.April 27, 2022 at 11:08 am #654479Melissamc16Participant

I can’t find the book listed anywhere online. The most up to date book I can find is the ‘Irish Variant – Finance Act 2019 By Paula Byrne, FCCA, MBA’.April 27, 2022 at 3:52 pm #654491
I would suggest contacting ACCA directly with this issue. If anyone else has any suggestions please share them here.April 30, 2022 at 11:56 am #654663
If you look at syllabus document I linked to above, towards end of document it gives changes from previous syllabus. It gives example of ability to use technology as only syllabus change. Therefore I would suggest you might be able to use the 2019 book with caution. However, once more, I would strongly suggest contacting ACCA directly. Hope this helps.May 7, 2022 at 5:31 pm #655123elisak1989Member

I’m using the Irish Variant Finance Act 2019 by Paula Byrne too. I hope there aren’t any changes since then. I am trying to find solutions to 2021 past exams however the past exam section only goes to 2020. Anyone know where I can find solutions to ATM IRL 2021 exams.
I tried this link but no luck.

Also available is the ACCA approved Q & A pack which has been updated for latest examinable Finance act and examiners comments.

Might be of use…there’s a free podcast for Irish ATX called ‘Study for tax on your coffee break’ available wherever you listen to your podcasts.November 10, 2022 at 10:13 am #671173
aula9, thank you for providing the above information. I will also repost link to ACCA reading list at end of syllabus document as this thread has been bumped-
