    Hello everyone,

I registered in ACCA and got an exemption for F1, F2, F3, F4.

Now I am wondering which paper should take first from the applied skills, knowing that it will be in March 2022, and from what I learnt online I should not take Taxation (F6) as the syllabus will be different in June 2022 in case I do not clear it in March 2022.

My intial plan is to take Financial Reporting (F7) in March 2022

Could you please recommend the appropriate order?

    Thank you!

You could certainly take FR but, thinking ahead, that is likely to put a large gap between studying for FR and studying for SBR. Ideally you want to take SBR not too long after FR. That said, the same can be said for study APM after PM or AFM after FM. If you already have in mind which option you plan NOT to do, you could start with the underpinning Applied Skills for that exam – as long, as you correctly point out – it is not TX. Contrary to a popular misconception, AA assumes knowledge only of FA – not FR.

Why not look at the syllabuses? Or take a peek into our notes and see what grabs your attention? For first time success it is important that the content should appeal to you.
