Hello
I wanted to ask why you have not included the Advantages and Disadvantages of the relevant topics in the books. I usually do not use the lectures on the website but rather I take classes at a college.
I greatly appreciate how summarised OpenTuitions notes are and last December these notes once helped me go from a 30 to a 73 in FAU over just one day of studying. We did a test at college on Friday the week before the exam and I got the 30. I`d lost hope to pass and studied for my FFM exam which would be on Tuesday followed by the FAU exam on Wednesday. I used the OT notes on Tuesday afternoon and got a comfortable pass in it in the end. I love how OT notes and well summarised and include everything that is important.
However I see that the F5 material is missing a very crucial point with the advantages and disadvantages. So I wanted to ask why this is the case.
Thanks

They are only to be used with the lectures and it is in the lectures that we explain and expand on the notes.
Our lectures and lecture notes together cover everything needed to be able to pass the exam well, but they are to be used together – not separately.

For revision purposes, don`t you think it would be beneficial for a you to include details such as advantages and disadvantages in the book?
August 8, 2016 at 4:25 pm #332063Not at all.
Our lectures and notes are what we use on face-to-face courses, and as usual for face-to-face course we expect students to take their own notes during the lectures. Writing things down yourself is a much better way of learning that simply reading from a book.
We provide this service completely free of charge and do not claim to provide text books. If you want books then you need to buy then from one of the ACCA approved publishers.
