Can you please let me know about the difference between the accounting treatment of IAS 40 & IAS 16? Because as far as I know, both of the standards treat the properties in nearly the same way (Such as Initial recognition, subsequent recognition, depreciation, disposal). Please help me to clear my concept in this regard. Thank you.
