    sir i don’t get it how we are supposed to calculate weighted average when its not mention when receipts are incurred

    There is no question 5.22 in the current edition of the BPP Revision Kit.

    If you are using an older edition then type out the first line of the question and I can then check if the same question is in the current edition with a different number.

    A wholesaler had opening inventory of 300 units of product Emm valued at $25 per unit at the
    beginning of January. The following receipts and sales were recorded during January.

    I have found the question (it is number 5.21 in the current edition of the kit).

    Maybe in your edition the question has been mistyped, but in the current edition it is showing that the only receipt was 400 units on 12 Jan, and the issues were 250 on 2 Jan, 200 on 21 Jan, and 75 on 29 Jan. (There was, in addition, opening inventory of 300 units on 1 Jan).

    Mine is the 9th edition for exams from 1 September 2020 to 31 August 2021.
