January 15, 2018 at 12:43 pm #430012Passed third attempt 50% delighted.
January 15, 2018 at 1:10 pm #43003765% on my first attempt! So happy, read someone online say you ‘had to mention money laundering otherwise you can turn 60 into a 40’ – not true! I didn’t need to mention it at all and passed well!
January 15, 2018 at 2:10 pm #430077i passed at the 5th attempt with 52, thank god and myself, all finished, i passed this time with better exam technique, as i have all the knowledge from the past few attempts, worked hard on exam technique given from the last TA, if you didn’t pass, please don’t give up! it is my 5th attempt after all!

Congrats since you are an affiliate can I ask what kind of email you received? Mine is just pass nothing about being an affiliate/ member I passed as well and this was my last exam.
Should we expect another email saying that we are an affiliate now?The usual email for results.
Yeah we should expect to receive an email in the coming days.
Congrats to you.

This was my 4th attempt and I passed.
I agree with these tips. you really need to look on the p7 videos and there is one that if you can view it then that would help. The lecturer always stressed learning to write procedures using source (minutes, cashbook) and reason (eg. to verify payment). for eg. Review bank statement for payment to supplier to verify transaction occurred. So for each procedure you need to state the source of the information and why the information is being used. this is very important.
Review past papers. Look on the latest technical articles. anything current that was released in the year of exam or the sitting before is likely to be tested in next sitting. read these articles and pay attention to them.
review examiners report and practice a lot of questions. as this person say from 2014 or 2012 on wards. if you practice both papers that are uploaded and do 5 years you would do 10 papers and you will get a feel of the exam.

January 15, 2018 at 11:17 pm #430317Thanking God I’m finally able to say I’m an affiliate. P7 was my last paper and I passed it on my second attempt with 55. Honestly out of all acca papers p5 by far was the hardest paper for me. But thank God the journey is over. Best of luck to all!
January 16, 2018 at 8:52 am #430450Passed first try with 57%. Honestly gobsmacked that I managed it. I was certain that I had failed. Thank god, if there was one exam I definitely DID NOT want to resit, it was this one. Absolutely hated it from start to finish. Just P6 left to sit in June and then I’m done!

January 21, 2018 at 6:29 am #431741All done now. Failed miserably with 22% in September. Found out that my exam strategy was bad though I was good with the accounting standards. Passed with 52% in December. Did more past questions. Now an affiliate. Thanks to everyone.
