Congrats since you are an affiliate can I ask what kind of email you received? Mine is just pass nothing about being an affiliate/ member I passed as well and this was my last exam.
Should we expect another email saying that we are an affiliate now?

53% I’m delighted. Definitely a tough paper to pass I was sure I’d do a lot better but I’m glad to be rid of it!

Moji, the link and e business are theories that suggest that a finalist has passed by clicking a link and being able to successfully log in. This has been disproved over time though.

I passed my P-7 in 1st attempt. Marks = 57

I would advice the following to all those who have failed or who are going to attempt P7 in March 2018;
1-After reading study text please make sure to have revision of past papers as much as you can. (At-least 2014 onward)
2- Don’t miss to read recent articles (Last 5 -6) of the examiner
3- There are some very useful videos on p7 topics beneath the technical article. Try to understand it, and apply it on relevant questions.
4- You should have basic idea of accounting standards (Very Important)
5- Allocate your time properly and stick to it. (If mark allocated is 5, then do not write excessively as you can gain max of 5 marks, but due to excessive time you will miss other parts at the end. This can apply to study case as well. Select 6 – 7 key areas of the case study and write about those. Do not wast your time on other points
6- Use professional language i.e use auditing language in your answer.
7- Solve past exam papers in exam conditions to get an idea about your preparation.
8- Practice as much as you can, this will make your writing fast.

9- Read examiner comments.
10- If you are writing audit evidence, then make sure you write it completely.e.g. Don’t just write read BOD minutes. You should also mention the purpose for reading the board minutes. E.g Read board minutes to ensure that Investment property has been approved from the Board.

People who failed paper P7 don’t give up and don’t loose hope.
