Failed 35% third attempt
3 attempts on P5 with no pass. Am I on downward trajectory?
First attempt June 2015
-Got 40% did not understand P5 that much and did compulsory question and one optional. Did not finish all of them
Second attempt September 2015
-Got 38%. Again did compulsory question and one optional. Did not finish all of them.
Third Attempt -35%
-good understanding of subject matter. Tried to change my approach by starting with optional questions. Got confused and had to start with compulsory question.Could have passed even with the compulsory question plus one optional question. Will not change my approach again unless the compulsory question is impossible to attempt.
Fourth attempt in March 2016 and I will thrash this exam once and for all
Wow, i have passed P5 with 54% at my first attempt and i am now an ACCA affiliate. Glory be unto God wow.

failed with 46 !! This is my last paper, I hate P5, wish I will pass it in March.
thank you open tuition for all your great tips,notes and advise from Mr Gromit.Finally passed this paper after almost giving up Acca..Thank you very much open tuition I couln’t have done it without you as I did everything on my own relying on OpenTuition.Alhamdullilah
scored 43 in my first attempt when I tot i would pass. still demoralised, i will surely bounce back in june
first attempt… 49… real harsh, considering that in the final minute i saw a couple of easy calculation marks which i did not have time to finish…
real bummer…. excruciatingly painful… hahaha… 🙁
