Passed with 76 marks at first attempt. My advice is to practice, practice and practice. It is essential to practice under exam conditions. You have to cover the whole syllabus as each single question can cover different parts of the syllabus. P4 is straightforward but it takes time to learn all the areas and exam technique.

Good luck to all who will sit in June.

Failed my second attempt – 45%. I just did not practise enough and I knew that going in. The paper was fair too – I would have passed it had I done more practise. I am kicking myself now as I have to rewrite AGAIN and it’s my final exam to pass. Oh well, back to my studying for a June sitting. And I really thought I might scrape through. Well, I was hoping anyway.

Well done to all those who made it. I got 29% using another tuition provider. I was expecting a fail but not this low.

With such a low mark, should I retake P4 or change to maybe P5? Did those who pass, only use OT?

I thought the exam was really tough but I must admit I didn’t do enough questions for this exam.

Firstly, did you like the module? If so, did you find the calculations and understanding of the technical theory okay? As I would have thought with part of P4 knowledge in your memory, it would be easier to practice from now to the June exam, to learning a whole new syllabus and then rushing to take it in June, where it is likely you will not have enough time to practice even though the P5 syllabus is so small.

My Congratulations goes to those who didn’t make it this time. Keep trying, Have a better go at it next time. Practice alot, finish the revision kit 2weeks to the exam, never neglect the written aspects of the practice kits.

    This was my 4th attempt;
    1st: 43%
    2nd: 38%
    3rd: 44%
    4th: 62%

P4 is the only ACCA paper that got me this humbled.

Better luck next time to the guys that failed, its not d destination yet. Keep pushing hard. I tasted failure, I know how it feels

Yes, I enjoyed the module and found it quite interesting but it took me a bit of time to grasp some concepts. I think this time around I’ll work a lot more on the previous question papers. Thanks for the advise.

Passed on third attempt. 53%. I give Christ all the praise!

This module was interesting, but by far the most challenging I’ve done. Never had to resit twice before. June 2017 was passable, but I mismanaged time. December 2017 was such a cruel exam, had never seen anything like it. This latest March paper was much fairer.

Thank you open tuition and John, I love your lecturer. I did P4 because I enjoyed your F9 lecture and passed with ease. P4 is a different story, it’s a lot more challenging, I struggled throughout and probably spent 200 hrs more or less on P4 (not naturally good at numbers) and was not confident in the exam, luckily, I scraped through and I am done for all exams. For the option paper advice, I personally think P7 is easier than P4 in terms of studying time and difficulty, I spent 100 hrs more or less on p7 and got the same result as p4. P7 is a very wordy paper and i really don’t like writing, so practicing pass papers was a torture for me. p4 is definitely more interesting but a lot tougher. Good luck to everyone who is going to sit ACCA exam in June.

PASS RATE IS 41% THIS TIME.

That’s not as bad as previous years. Does this indicate how fair the paper was?
