Passed with 52. was confused with football question and was not so sure about the result. Very happy.
October 16, 2017 at 9:20 am #411735I passed second attempt! thank god. I’ve been hovering over the ‘open mail’ button all morning……I was so nervous!
I was comfortable with the option questions but hated Q1 so had mixed feelings about what to expect.
On to P4….

October 16, 2017 at 10:50 am #411799Thank you for the videos and the lecture notes. I find them very helpful especially if you have to work long hours and study at the same time.

Sorry to hear that Nafiismail.
I failed P1 in June with 46.
You can appeal to ACCA and they can recount your marks (think it’s approx £50 per paper/appeal) but it is just an arithmetic exercise – adding the marks up again – they don’t actually remark you paper. Papers will have gone through several checks already before they release results so it is unlikely to change. Apparently it’s extremely rare to get ACCA to come back with a different result.
I considered doing this in June but after reading unsuccessful stories I decided it was not worth it.Not sure if the appeal provides anymore information other than Q1 – met/not met, Q2 – met/ not met etc etc……??
Good luck for future papers

Nafiismail, it is quite possible to recall your paper. Though it is much painful when you expect to have a better result but turns out to be otherwise. but i will rather advice that you forgot about the recall & focus more on resit and adopt a new strategy towards your reading and preparation for the next diet.

October 17, 2017 at 1:25 am #41203453 marks on my first attempt with Kaplan book for SGP version, the only country with a country specific for P1! I wonder what is the difference though.
I spent a couple of days writing only a 1-2 chapters, the rest was just read up and browse through quickly! I thought I was lucky I passedOctober 17, 2017 at 9:13 am #412070There was time pressure; I did not finish 30% of the paper. However I am happy I got a margin pass of 51% 1st attempt. I did not make for P2 due to same time problems.
How best can I and my other colleagues increase our chances of passing other future sittings as we are challenged by time management.
