Hi guys,
I has a query regarding the process of obtaining membership.
I fulfilled all the requirements and got my PER Summary form from my approved employer and sent it to ACCA along with my membership application.I received a mail today as
“Your membership status shall be awarded within 10 working days, subsequent to the next meeting of ACCA’s Committee members, with written confirmation dispatched to you shortly thereafter. Your membership certificate will be sealed at the next meeting of ACCA Council which is scheduled to take place on 21 November 2015. Please allow up to six weeks from this date for delivery of your certificate.
To ensure you receive your welcome pack and ACCA membership certificate please log on to myACCA to ensure that your contact details are fully up to date. Please note that you may also make a payment towards the membership admission fee.”So how long does the process normally take
My ACCA Account is now showing REG ### – Graduate Pending member
received open invoice of £211 in the payment section
But in My experience record showsWork Experience 36 Months Complete
Performance objectives
Exemption claimed: YES
Essentials 0 out of 9
Options 0 out of 11But I am not able to open and view my Online ERS Exam Status Report
has anybody experienced this??
October 29, 2015 at 7:15 pm #279611Mine is the same. I am also a graduate pending member and cannot open my Online ERS. I think its normal and I guess we will have to wait about a month to receive membership status?
October 31, 2015 at 5:23 am #279745Adam I check Myacca today
My status has been transferred to Member
What about you?
When did you apply?October 31, 2015 at 5:26 am #279746I am also curious ??
How can we see out Exam status report as there is no option in my acca to view the ERS??October 31, 2015 at 3:02 pm #279817Probably not.
October 31, 2015 at 9:45 pm #279847My status has also changed to Member on Myacca. There does not seem to be an option for ERS status report.
November 16, 2015 at 2:32 am #282724I have not received any email from ACCA to announce but my status has already changed to “member”, I feel a little weird, so now we just wait to receive the welcome package from ACCA (about 6 weeks after 21 November 2015) ?
November 16, 2015 at 1:45 pm #282848It might help if you ring up the ACCA and ask them for confirmation of Membership. They can send out a letter by email (‘letter of Good Standing’) to you so at least then you can be confident that you have correctly transferred to Member status.

Thanks for taking out time to replying to our query.
I have already received the confirmation letter of transfer in 1st week of November.
I was concerned about Exam Status report. I was not able to find an option in MY ACCA to download or print the ERS Report. One question regarding letter of good standing.
Does It show the Work experience, Exams Taken and how much do they charge for it?December 14, 2015 at 6:48 am #291634Hi,
I have a question regarding the annual fees. I passed my last exam in September, and now my status is Graduate pending number. In my transactions report I have 2 open invoices, one for the affiliate fee of 114GBP and one for the member fee of 211GBP. Does anyone know, do I have to pay both of them? It doesn’t sound right, I was an affiliate for only two months…
Thanks!December 14, 2015 at 10:29 am #291676@cristinat said:

Thanks!I doesn’t sound right but this is the way ACCA does it.
I submitted my application for membership on 22nd october 2015 & I had 2 invoices open in my account.
One as the membership fee 211 GBP & 2nd 221 GBP Membership Fee Annual. Its better to call ACCA Office and confirm once

Thanks for your answer!
I think I will call the office to confirm..December 15, 2015 at 4:44 pm #291897I can confirm that ACCA do not charge you for the letter of good standing. However, the letter is pretty basic, confirming only the fact you are an ACCA member, the date you became a member, that you are in good standing and your membership number.
March 20, 2022 at 5:31 am #651534Hello guys
Have few question on membership…….
1) I become member on 11th February 2022 and still waiting to receive physical copy of certification. In ACCA website, it appears that it might take 4 weeks to get the certificate but it’s already been more than 4 weeks and I don’t know why I hadn’t received it yet.
2) Do I need to record CPD for 2022 as I recently become member and I understand the year you become member can be skipped as you recently came through the examination and it is only required after a year but don’t know the specific treatment for the case, who gave last exam in Dec 2021 and become member in feb 2022………..Thanks in advance!
March 20, 2022 at 7:52 am #651538@singa31 – you are asking on a very old thread (2015) – we now have a forum for members https://opentuition.com/forum/qualified-members-forum
Both your queries are mentioned on this post: https://opentuition.com/topic/acca-membership-application-2
My post on Feb 22 of last year confirms ““You should begin recording your CPD from 1 January AFTER you became a member.””
And my post of March 15 last year confirms that it can take up to 12 weeks to receive a physical copy.
