Hi,
I have exactly the same problem! I have failed with 49%!
I think it is mainly due to my poor results in Section A & B. I also got confused with the way MCQs were presented and found them different from the practice questions.
I studied BPP study text and practiced all past papers and I was satisfied with section C but MCQs were the worst! Any advice on how to understand and prepare for them better?October 19, 2020 at 2:41 pm #590510Passed with 56% thank you Open tuition.
October 19, 2020 at 3:06 pm #590515Thanks to John I was able to clear my FM paper in my first attempt. PM is next.
October 19, 2020 at 5:08 pm #590548Passed, 58%. my exam felt like a disaster and I walked out of there certain I had failed, I had already talked myself down and prepared to hear i failed and was ready to just redo it and work harder. when i saw that i passed i was truly shocked.. what a relief!!
October 19, 2020 at 6:41 pm #590593Stay strong. I never thought I would pass this paper but I did! I made sure that I knew how every single section c question was answered for about 10 past papers. I also realised that section c was my strength and answered that section first. With section a and b, i would say that the key is to realise that they need proper thought and calculations to be done. They also trick you in the mcqs so that if you miss a step in your calc, the answer you get is most likely one of the options.
October 19, 2020 at 7:57 pm #590607Pass with 61%.Thank you Open Tuition for lectures and tests! Considering all the challenges in this period and my study for FM level, in this exam I was not performing at my best knowledge. Still feeling that all the work for this exam is helping me to be a step forward in my final objective: ACCA qualified!

October 20, 2020 at 11:27 pm #590891A pass is a pass. I passed with 55 and to be honest I know my mistakes and I know the material but I blocked on the exam. Its one of those things. The most important is that you passed.
And in anyway you’d have to do an advanced paper on the same stuff so sure you will know everything by heart at the end.October 20, 2020 at 11:29 pm #590892Go over the lectures again and just rewrite the examples on the lectures so you know them inside out.
October 21, 2020 at 7:28 am #590916I passed FM with 70%. This was my first attempt towards my ACCA journey and I am extremely happy with my score.
Thank you John. I am grateful to get to be your student! 🙂
October 21, 2020 at 9:45 am #590970Finally scraped pass in this paper with 51% after countless of attempts over the last 3 years literally.. Could have been more but WACC and NPV were not primary questions as i was hoping, but i cant complain considering working capital management came up (my nightmare)
Do not give up, you will get some good news through that midnight text will soon just DO NOT give up. I failed this module in my degree back in 2013 and the feeling is priceless.. onto the P papers now…
Please advise which P paper to tackle first after FM
October 21, 2020 at 1:15 pm #5909883 weeks of preparation on Open Tuition = 65% PASS !
