Then can’t remember?!December 6, 2017 at 11:45 pm #421358how can you be so sure that conformity does not need uniformity ?
to compare two things, there needs to be a level playing field, no ?December 7, 2017 at 1:58 am #421364@colmjulian said:

to compare two things, there needs to be a level playing field, no ?But comparability and consistency are not the same.
December 7, 2017 at 3:44 am #421370I found MCQs were tricky specially in section A. I managed time nicely & I had 1+ hour left to solve the ratios question.
Thanks God that I’ve attempted Dec16 specimen exam on night before exam, section C questions were almost the same of Dec16.
December 7, 2017 at 8:35 am #421443Indeed comparability requires uniformity. if two companies have different accounting policies e.g depreciation method , their performance can not be reliably compared. Even if their reporting dates are different ; where is seasonal variations

The last two questions..not hard as well, you can simply score 30 out of 40 there..This is my second seating, compared to the previous paper i sat, to me this one was ‘fair’. All in all, good luck to all of us..

I don’t remember the MCQ.
For the other one:
Seasonal trading as it sells mainly winter clothes.
Having to compulsorily but from the parent while its competitors might be benefiting from better credit terms from other better suppliers.
December 7, 2017 at 5:33 pm #421675In section b last question of financial instrument there was some adjustment for exchange rate question anyone remember?adjusted from sales purchases or closing balances. I thought it is adjusted at the time of sales purchases n went for this.. But I guess I did wrong. Share ur answer guys 🙂
December 7, 2017 at 8:52 pm #421748I certainly hope comparability requires uniformity!
December 7, 2017 at 9:14 pm #421751Anyone POL?
December 8, 2017 at 10:37 am #421845I have had a look in my Kaplan text book and Comparability doesn’t say anything specifically about uniformity. Talks about consistency but doesn’t specifically use the word uniformity. But these mean the same thing surely?
