    Good Morning Everyone

Do we receive feedback on our performance on an exam from ACCA so we know which areas we lacked on, or we only do so if we apply for an administrative review?

I got 45% on FR any piece of advice on how to pick myself up because I am hurt as this was my favourite subject.

Thanks and congratulations to those who passed.

    Hi,

I’m not aware of any feedback that is given directly to individual students on their exam performance and I’d not recommend an administrative review as you will not be successful.

Once the ACCA has released the examiner’s report from the December exam you will be able to find it via this link – https://www.accaglobal.com/gb/en/student/exam-support-resources/fundamentals-exams-study-resources/f7/examiners-reports.html

I’d suggest that you read this through as you might be able to identify where you went wrong. I’d imagine that with a mark of 45% that you will not have done too well on any analysis and interpretation question that might have appeared, or you may even have missed out part of one of the question. These are usually common weaknesses for all students.

Although you say it was your favourite subject, how did the revision go? Did you practise exam question under timed exam conditions? Did you cover the key areas of the syllabus? Are there any gaps in your knowledge? These are key questions to answer as you move forward looking to be successful at the next attempt.

    Thanks
