Could you please make me clear on how to decipher the difference between Goodwill Net assets Method and Proportionate method? is this scenario happens when the 1 entity acquires other entity as part of consolidation?

What you are talking about above are the same methods for calculating goodwill. It is technically the proportionate share of net assets method, which is then sometimes shortened to either the proportionate method or net assets method.
