January 14, 2019 at 4:26 am #501493This relates only to finalists those waiting for the final exam. 1. Link theory: if you are able to log in to the following link on Thursday prior to results have been released and have no error message; and able to see grey and white page with your details on, then the chance you have past your final exam is very high https://portal.accaglobal.com/portal/page/portal/ACCA_PORTAL_PAGES/ACCA_STUDENTS# 2. E business: if you see the following message, then this predicts that you have pass your final exam. Message: Your name will be included in the passed finalists list, when you are eligible. If you do not wish for your name to be included, please check the box below and click ‘save’.
[_] I would like my name to be excluded from the passed finalists list. Both this theories have proved for many people in the past. I also for me.
January 14, 2019 at 4:41 am #501501Hopeneverdies, do not be upset! You pass one exam, and I am sure next time you will manage to pass your final one. It’s really painful to get 49%. I got 48% in the previous sittings three times for AAA and I know how you feel right now. But, I am sure you can pass it next time. Good luck to you. It’s time to say good bay to you all. It was nice to chart to you guys. All the best in your future!
January 14, 2019 at 6:43 am #501560hi, do you have any tips for those who
Self study?January 14, 2019 at 7:39 am #501589Got 51%. Now ACCA Affiliate.
January 14, 2019 at 7:44 am #501595Sorry about your result for AAA @hopeneverdies . What was your secret for passing AFM?
January 14, 2019 at 7:58 am #501604I interested in the Prepare to pass with OT resource you have mention, how do i get this resource as i have also failed my AAA
January 14, 2019 at 8:05 am #501608I have been scoring exactly 46 consistently for the last 4 attempts regardless of how good or bad or complete or incomplete my AAA paper is. I mean what are the odds. Could this possibly be due to anything on there side?

January 14, 2019 at 8:08 am #501610Pass with 63 (previously 44 and 46).
My study tips is to 1) go through all the past papers since 2006 as all questions repeated , 2) master your procedures and working documents as it worth 1 mark but have to write a little 3) summarize answers from past papers to each IAS and IFRS in written, it is very important 4) summarize business risk questions in order to understand what to write 5) do not underestimate questions on due diligence and other analysis areas 6) explain every point of the answer 7) follow time management on exam do not stuck with the questions 8) read and understand technical articles on ACCA website (first 5 especially)
Good luck with your exam, it is not that difficult.January 14, 2019 at 8:13 am #501612Congrants to all the affiliates and those who have passed, this subjects it is causing me headache and I do not what technique to apply on it, eeeeeshi.
January 14, 2019 at 8:22 am #501619For Zhenya from above – If i can just ask, you say to go through past papers from 2006 onwards but on ACCA website they are only available since 2014. Where do you get older ones pls?
January 14, 2019 at 8:27 am #501620Passed with exactly 50%- that’s me done with ACCA !!!! Bit too close for comfort but I don’t care…just the Ethics & PER to complete!!!
January 14, 2019 at 8:27 am #501623Martina – a lot has changed even since 2014, so worth investing in an ACCA-Approved Revision Kit for question practice that has been updated to reflect the style and standard of the new exam (since September 2018) and the more recent auditing and financial reporting standards (ISA 700 series, IFRSs 15 and 16 in particular). You don’t want to be wasting study time on obsolete material.
January 14, 2019 at 8:43 am #501633Martina I have the past papers from my friends who passed P7 earlier. I do understand that partly this material is obsolete for IFRS changes and ISA on Reporting, i simplly skip it. But if I not mistaken in 2009 was question why management is reluctant to have MURCG section in Audit report same was in December 2018. Absolutely briliant questions on forensic and due diligence in past papers as well.

My lil advice: stay put; don’t change paper. Your learning curve starts all over again if you change paper. For APM, inbox me on donaldwhale@gmail.com for a few stuff that could make the difference you desire.January 14, 2019 at 10:32 am #501670@kim2311 said:

What is the main difference between AAA UK variant and INT? also will OT lectures cover the INT variant? The syllabuses are the same except that in F (Other assignments), section 4 is the audit of performance information in INT syllabus (see Chapter 31 of our notes) and auditing aspects of insolvency in UK syllabus (see Chapter 32 of our notes).
January 14, 2019 at 1:43 pm #501770I got 60%, first attempt my tips are:
1)Know the IAS and the IFRS by heart and apply in the question
2)Do all questions, dont prolong on a question
3)Do Past Papers, especially most recent
4)Read the question requirements and then read the question
5)Re work the past papers several times
6)Mnemonics
7)Explain your answer in detail - AuthorPosts
