i m using f8 2010version book is it suitable for sitting in december 2014 exams or should i buy new one?and which one is better kaplan or bpp?
I’m not sure whether you are talking about the Study Taxt or the Revision Kit. BPP’s revisionkits contain all the latest exam questions. I don’t think there’s much difference in the Texts.
The trouble with 2010 is that it’s quite a while ago and the syllabus tends to change slightly each year. I don’t think there were majot revisions sine 2010. The easiest way to find out is to look at the sectoin on audit reports. If modified opinions talk about ‘limitation in scope’ or ‘disagreements’ then it is too old. If they talk about ‘insufficient appropriate audit evidence’ or ‘material misstatements’ then you can probably make do with 2010 – but get an up-to-date revision kit.
