can anyone tell me how you did the defined benefit plan???…..also impairment???…Hoo did you calculate the impairment on asset???
For the project management question part (b) what did you guys put if you remember!!!!….the examination was a real torture for me,it was too much time pressured…
can anyone answer this question please…For number 1…we were given total Fixed costs….But when we do NPV calculations,do we take the incremental fixed costs that is fixed cost in year one is already given while for year 2,we have to take fixed cost in year 2 minus fixed cost in year 1????:S :S :S
actually market value of wacc means to take market value of equity and the market of debt when calculating the WACC and not their book values!!!
me too I wanted to know if we had to take incremental fixed costs for number 1 since we were given the total costs each year???
however,overall this paper was an absolute catastrophe for me…I really hope to get 50 marks!!!:)

OK was it just me who deflated the given nominal cost of capital in the first question as it was the same rate for revenue and costs so therefore inflation could be left out? 🙂You cannot deflate the nominal cost of capital since we were told to calculate the cash flow in nominal term!!!!
