Do you think that solving past papers would be of any help?
(As the Taxation Rules change every year).Thank You very much for your help.
I think your suggestion will help me study well with confidence.Also for further information, the material from which I studied states that it is for both UK and INT.
But the Mock Papers given are of INT Variant.

the question says that “closing balance on p’s bank statement.”-my understanding says reconciled balance on bank statement.
so i truly think that 2062 Cr. is the right answer.

but i think that the closing debit balance is given and so,
Dr- 9600
Cr-4540+2720+14250=21510
=11910 on Dr..ie closing credit balanceans-53000.
Accumulated depreciation on Machine sold- 193000
prepare provision for depreciation a/c & Fixed Assets a/c.
balance of provision for dep- 193000 & F.A -53000
