I was reading certain comments where ACCA was being suggested to show the marked papers to the students… Which accountancy body does that? Also, I think ACCA gives you an option of getting your paper re-checked… Is that not true?

    hinamughal,

I had Emily Waldarf 2010 text book, BPP Exam Kit and 2 days before exam I was watching video lectures on opentuition – they are very short and up to the point – the thing you need for revision.

The trick is I think is to do as many practical questions as possible, reading just pure theory will not give u anything.
And of course ur logical thinking helps u a LOT!!!

Passed with 74, a lot of people I studied with at Kaplan passed with lower than expected marks, seems to be a common theme.

Hi all, I am really happy to pass this exam, I was expecting aroung 70 but got 55, It was a very lengthy paper, last time pass rate was 40 which would be very difficult to match this time, I have moved to professional level now, wish me luck, I really want to thank opentuition for their help but I suspect their business model will change very soon. Goodluck to them too

I got 49 percent when this was the paper i thought i did really good in though i must admit i did some blunder but i still expected 58-62 πŸ™ F9 which i thought i screwed up and would fail I passed… crazy isnt it.

Btw someone here mentioned ACCA lets you recheck your paper the answer is no they allow a previous where they calculate marks allocated they dont check how much marks you got in each questions.

Thought I had definately done enough to pass – but had 44% -absolutely gutted – especially after looking at the answers online and still not knowing where I went wrong. First fail, not a good feeling…

    Passed with 71%.
I am really happy considering that it was my first attempt, I self-studied, worked, never did real audit, was pregnant and looked after my older child and also passed F9 πŸ˜€
    Thank you, Open Tuition!

60%, the problem i have with the marking is that I don’t feel that I wrote more quality than in previous attempts where i scored 49%. I just made a more concerted effort to ‘name drop’ the associated topic in the question even if the explanation wasn’t as detailed.
