Passed with 50, last exam so reflief at getting a passed, my advise if taking don’t forget the smaller areas of the exam, this can make up the extra few marks needed to pass.
January 18, 2016 at 6:47 am #295495Scrap though with 51, but a pass is a pass, just one to go
June 22, 2015 at 9:20 pm #258526Thanks, I think I will stick with Kaplan and bbp
June 4, 2015 at 7:59 am #252926Why will it get more difficult from June 15, if the pass rate stays so low or gets lower for surely they will need to make it more passable?
June 2, 2015 at 8:34 pm #252168I ended up with a negative npv for question one, but show all working so should still pick up marks, used the neg answer in report and based conclusion on this,
Answered q2 first and was ok,
Q4 had a mental block and forgot what to do, left it to late to attempt question 3 instead,
Not likely to get 50 out of 75 marks,
Anyone else planning retake for sept?May 27, 2015 at 12:50 pm #249540Thanks for your help, I didn’t read the material correctly, and thought it was another 4 years and half growth instead of to perpetuity, so makes sense now,
Teach me to read properly,
Thanks
March 25, 2015 at 7:05 pm #238837thanks for the lectures John, they are really useful, reading from the text book is not always as easy to understand, where working though examples with your lectures are.
Keep up the good work.
February 9, 2015 at 12:56 pm #227320You can’t enter for sept exams until July when the entry opens,
I need to retake p6, but have already started studying p4, so thinking of delaying until sept sitting as it would only be a three month delay,February 8, 2015 at 3:02 pm #226846I failed with 49,ahh, thinking of leaving retake till sept in the new exam session and put all effort into passing p4 first time,
Will I need new study books for the retake?November 30, 2014 at 7:01 pm #214838You should aim to keep within your time allocation and break it now into parts of the question, leaving plenty of space so you could back to it at the end, this way you will be aiming to get 50 out of 100 rather then out of 65 which is a lot easier,
They say that you score the most marks in the first 10-15mins of starting to write your answer then you do towards the end of the time therefore making sure you keep to time and write an answer to all parts of the questions means that you can score marks on all parts.
Even if its only a couple of sentences it might be the extra’ few marks you need.I’m resitting the exam again this session,
Good luck to all.October 29, 2014 at 4:06 pm #206599Hi
I am sitting p3 as well and have been told it’s more about the quality of what you write rather then the quantity , there is a web video on the Kaplan exam tips website about how they Mark the wordy papers which gives a good insight and some useful tips, you should check it out, good luck
TracyFebruary 19, 2014 at 3:48 pm #159437I wondered what happen after 10 years, mine expires in 2017 and with 3 papers left I should be ok, I took a couple of years out after my first f papers due to family issues, which is why its taken so long,

January 18, 2012 at 7:25 pm #92610Yes they will, but you will need to complete the PER statements and your Mentor who should be ACCA qualified will sign them.
If you work for a approved ACCA employer it just means that you do not need to complete the indivial PER requirements. - AuthorPosts
