Thanks Kim!
Was lead to believe that I would be required to pay membership fee also for this year
October 20, 2023 at 3:47 pm #693739Hi Kim thanks for your response. I’m not looking at CPD as a chore but from the financial element. Yes ACCA does provide some free verifiable units but believe it would be better to wait till January to achieve most value in the one year rule for CPD. I pay my own membership fees and applying now I would be paying membership for 2023 and would also be required to pay for 2024 before 1st January. By waiting I would not have to pay the 2023 fee.
Hope you see my view.October 17, 2023 at 11:23 am #693595Hello, thanks for your reply. If I was then to become a member before the end of the calendar year wouldn’t I then be subject to record cpd for 2024 and missing out on the 1 year exemption from the January. It says on ACCA “If you have just become a member you need to ensure that you’re participating in our CPD programme from 1 January after you became a member.”
September 7, 2022 at 6:37 pm #665655Sat the afternoon variant.. did anyone else notice q1 only totalled to 40 marks and did not state what the 10 professional marks were being given for. How are you suppose to target your response when the examiner does not guide you in what skills he is looking for in this question
