Hello Sir, sorry to bother you.. I’ve understood the context after re-reading the question. thanks
June 8, 2022 at 9:36 am #657891Hello Sir, I have read this article and this is why I’m confused that why don’t we find year 2 an dyear 3 and 4 rates and then add the credit spread,
How do I understand that when is it that we need to find the equivalent per year rates…
June 2, 2022 at 4:21 pm #657153Thank you, COuld you please help me understand Examiner comments ”The 94.25 option is marginally lower than the futures outcome under both scenarios but may be preferable if the base rate rises higher than 5.41%, the point at which the option would not be exercised.”
In the mentioned article: https://www.accaglobal.com/my/en/student/exam-support-resources/professional-exams-study-resources/p4/technical-articles/basis-risk.html
I don’t understand where does 5.41% come from??
May 26, 2022 at 6:08 am #656465Alright thank you
May 16, 2022 at 5:46 pm #655822Also please shed some light on the fact that we have to use Pre tax cost of debt, why had bpp bpook used 10% as disocunt factor, iu’m extremely confused now.
May 10, 2022 at 5:17 am #655287Thanks a ton Sir for explaining from both perspectives.
May 2, 2022 at 12:40 pm #654762Hello Sir, this is exactly what I’m talking about… it’d help immensely if you could explain why call option in terms of we have option to buy at a fixed price on future date so who is buying what here? or atleast implied to be buying?
April 30, 2022 at 1:41 pm #654669it has appeared twice in the pastexams.. one in Nente co and the other in FAOILEAN CO
April 11, 2022 at 3:41 pm #653088What do I look for in such questions to grasp that we do not need to add bps in our working?
April 4, 2022 at 1:28 am #652676Yes I have watched the lectures and made my own lecture notes, seems like I missed this point then. And I found that comment under the lectures comment section.
Thank you for the clarification.
April 3, 2022 at 3:52 am #652567Apologies for the late response, I scored 77% in FM.
January 23, 2022 at 6:23 pm #647346Alright, I’ll do that then.
No ma’am, I’m STILL 2 exams away, I had prepared ATX partially for march but due to lack of responsibility on my part I just decided to drop ATX and go for AFM as i.e more relevant to my career while ATX would just have been an easy pass. I’m also preparing for SBL.
January 18, 2022 at 5:57 pm #646956Thank you for all the confidence you gave me for this one. It still feels like I’m not the right person to write this post as my preparation for AAA was minimal and I didn’t do anything differently however I’ll try to write a useful post.
November 27, 2021 at 5:21 pm #641814Thank you and apologies for not specifying earlier in that post… and for sure I’ll be there
November 27, 2021 at 4:22 pm #641811Living in a country like Pakistan and having access well not even access but continued support of world class tutors on this platform is such a privilege.
November 27, 2021 at 4:08 pm #641810I want to begin writing back with a thank you but without any exaggeration that doesn’t describe how indebted I feel. I’m going to stick with each and everything you have mentioned above in fact I already have attempted an entire Practice test after going through your post in the morning itself. And things do feel a lot more under control, there are so many easy marks in this exam.
And the last bit you have mentioned, you would be surprised to know how my mom always says the same thing and about how grateful I should be to have got atleast these last bit of days off from work to scrape through this exam.
Well I’m still out of words, you are my true AAA tutor. and if anything that makes it easy to understand AAA and not come across anything that I’m not able to grasp is due to the strong foundations YOU helped me build in Audit. I have some brilliant marks until now and 5 national positions but never in my life could I imagine being the Global prizewinner for Audit, it was possible only and only because of you and OT and all the time that you invested in clearing my doubts.
Lots of good wishes and health to you.
